Ever sung the wrong words to a song ? I have !

image borrowed from here
It has just been brought to my attention that for the last 30 years i have been  singing the wrong words to the nursery rhyme Ring a Ring a Rosie annnnnnnd I had no freaking idea that Ring a Rosie was about the plague . according to Wikipedia ..........

Ring-a-ring o' roses,
A pocket full of posies,
A-tishoo! A-tishoo!

We all fall down.[2]

The invariable sneezing and falling down in modern English versions have given would-be origin finders the opportunity to say that the rhyme dates back to the Great Plague. A rosy rash, they allege, was a symptom of the plague, and posies of herbs were carried as protection and to ward off the smell of the disease. Sneezing or coughing was a final fatal symptom, and "all fall down" was exactly what happened.[15][16]

FFS ! and here i was singing a tissue a tissue plus its got nothing to do with anyone called Rosie
, I am the only one that didn't know this ?

Mother Of The Year ......Or Not

My Biggest Boy and My littlest Boy xx
Today my biggest boy turns 15 so i decided to give myself a Birth-day present and i have grabbed  my bff Tina and we have hauled ass to the digital parents conference for the next two days .Now before you go all omg can you believe she didn't stay home for her sons birthday on me let me just say he didn't miss out we just celebrated the night before .

Poor kid it wouldn't be the first time we have celebrated his birthday early ,when he turned 3 we had to celebrate it the day before because i was scheduled to have surgery on his actual birthday .I have been having a massive attack of the guilt's not helped at all by the fact that he has reminded me of the fact that i wouldn't be home for his birthday .

So Happy Birthday my biggest Boy i am very proud of the handsome ,intelligent smart ass you have grown into ,mumma loves you  xxx

Half way mark-IsoWhey review

Friday was my half way mark and i had all intentions of having this post written and published before i went to bed on Friday night but Mason had other ideas, anyway i have officially been drinking IsoWhey complete for  breakfast and lunch now for 12 days ,I'm still enjoying it and i am pleased to say i have lost 3 kg (wooooohoooooo go me!), however i would be lying if i said it has been easy because it certainly hasn't i really miss eating crunchy food and ham and salad rolls for lunch and i have also discovered that i eat when I'm bored .

I have been mixing some frozen mixed berries into my french vanilla shake of a morning and it has been perfect for those warm summer days. I had a sample sachet of Banana flavour IsoWhey that i was given to try and i took it to school with me to drink for lunch while i was doing my shift on the canteen and well lets just say that flavour will never be passing my lips again which also makes a bit nervous to try the strawberries and cream sachet sitting in the cupboard and the two protein bars make sure you come back next week to see what i thought of them and find out how much I've lost.

IsoWhey Complete 28 day Trial Review

When i found out i was going to get to trial IsoWhey i was just a tad excited and I'm thinking it just may be the kick up the ass i need to lose the 15 extra baby kilos i seemed to have acquired, yes you did read that correctly 15kg , i was shocked too and was also wondering how it happened because while i was breastfeeding i was doing great and then we switched to bottle feeding and i woke up one morning and BAM!! hello blubber guts .So on the 1st of February i started out on the IsoWhey 28 day trial , for those of you that don't know what IsoWhey is here is a little bit of info for you ...........

"IsoWhey Complete® is a high quality, easy-to-digest, nutritional protein powder. It contains ultra-purified whey protein isolate and high-grade whey concentrate, providing 15-16g of high quality, biologically active protein per serve. IsoWhey Complete® also contains 12 vitamins, 11 minerals, glutamine, medium chain triglycerides, as well as mineral co-factors such as chromium.
After a long run of success with the original IsoWhey Complete® formulation, IsoWhey Complete®underwent a makeover in mid 2011 to include new ingredients to support digestive health while helping to assist weight management goals.
For more information head to http://www.isowhey.com.au "

The 28 day trial that I'm doing means that for breakfast and lunch i have a smoothie and then for dinner i have a normal dinner and when i say normal i mean something sensible you know like a grilled piece of meat and salad  ,These are they types of dinners we normally eat anyway so that's not much of a change for me.
its been nearly a week since i first started and i have to say i am doing ok,The french Vanilla flavour is quite pleasant but taste fantastic with a few frozen berries thrown in and i must admit that IsoWhey has been keeping me full which is a bonus because there is nothing worse than trying to lose weight when your starving hungry .

I am already feeling better within myself and even my reflux that i have been suffering since having my gallbladder removed has really settled down, i cant wait to jump on the scales to see how much I've lost in my first week......Wish me luck !!
